Email: neil.manson@monash.edu

Tel: +27 11 950 4035

Qualifications
  • BSc(Mech Eng) – 1990 University of Witwatersrand
  • Dip Datametrics – 1994 UNISA
  • MSC (Civil Eng) – 1998 University of Witwatersrand
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Tertiary Education – 2013 UNISA
Research interests
  • Building mathematical models of real-world systems in order to help decision makers make accurate, evidence-based decisions. These models include simulation, optimisation and decision-analysis models
  • Improving teaching and learning through the use of information and communication technologies. Mr Manson is specifically interested in the teaching and learning that is required in the “hard” mathematical and computer science subjects.
