Regardless of one’s chosen career path, their career would at some stage involve working in or with organisations. How effective one is at work depends on their ability to understand the organisation they work in or with, and how to get things done through them. Management studies facilitate this knowledge as they cover the behaviour of people in organisations, issues of leadership, crafting entrepreneurial mind-sets, among others.
As a Management graduate, you will earn the competence to easily tackle complex situations and develop effective relationships with employees and clients. Soundly grounded in offering an education in management theory, MSA complements that theoretical foundation with an introduction to the practical world of management in business contexts and offers a curriculum that seeks to achieve strategic, innovative and conscientious managers of the future.
Management studies are offered at every level of undergraduate studies at MSA, from the Foundation Programme Business Science Stream, into the Bachelor of Business Science degree and also into the Bachelor of Business Science Honours degree. You can also advance to Masters Programmes in Management related areas, if entry requirements are met.
A major in Management can be paired at no additional cost, with any of the other majors in the Business Science offering (Accounting, Economics or Marketing). It can also be paired with offerings outside business science such as Psychology and International Studies.
