Professor HB Klopper obtained his B.Comm, B.Comm Honours and M.Comm Marketing Management (cum laude) from the Rand Afrikaans University and earned his D.Comm Marketing Management from the University of Johannesburg.
Prior to joining Monash South Africa, he worked at the University of Johannesburg. During his 16 years there, he served the Department of Marketing Management, taking responsibility of various portfolios and strategic initiatives, besides an acting role as chairperson of the department, which operated on three different campuses.
After joining Monash South Africa in 2010, he held the position as section Head of Marketing Management until 2015, when he became the Head of the School of Business & Economics, which has since merged with the School of IT to become the Faculty of Business and Technology.
HB is a committed member of the local and international research community as a journal and book editor, and is involved in numerous editorial boards and scholarly/research networks, supervision and associations.
