Glynnis Carter is a lecturer in the Foundation Programme at MSA. She has an MSC in the field of Botanical Ecology from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Higher Diploma in Education from the same institution. Prior to joining Monash South Africa, Glynnis taught at the University of the Witwatersrand in the College of Science Foundation Programme so she has many years of experience working with students at the start of their Higher Education learning journeys. She also has experience in developing online learning resources for first year students.
Glynnis’s teaching focus is supporting students through their transition into a Higher Education environment, specifically assisting them to become confident and competent users of information technology for academic and professional purposes. One of the aspects of her teaching role that she values the most is facilitating the development of skills that contribute significantly to each student’s life-long learning journey.
