Frances Scholtz is a lecturer in Business Management at MSA. Before entering academia, she practised as an attorney, where she gained extensive experience in the field of civil litigation, commercial law and labour law. This is supported with degrees in both B.Comm Law and LLB. She is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa. Frances completed her Master’s degree in Business Management (cum laude) with a focus on leadership development at the University of Johannesburg. Her dissertation was entitled “Logo-leadership development: A role-orientation approach”.
She has published in national and international journals as well as presented at academic conferences. Frances has a zeal for teaching and aims to share her skills and knowledge with future business leaders. She lectures Leadership Principles and Practices as well as Integrated Business Simulation. Her research interests include strategic management, business leadership, and behavioural strategy.
