Bimo Nkhata is the director and associate professor of the Water Research Node at MSA. He has a Ph.D in Environmental Science that is specifically directed at global sustainability issues. He joined Monash South Africa in 2011, bringing with him over 20 years of professional experience working in the environmental and water sectors of Africa.
He possesses in-depth knowledge about Africa’s water management, development and reforms, and has published widely on water governance, policy and planning. He has lived and worked in Kenya, South Africa and Zambia over extended periods, and travelled extensively within Africa. His passion for education is to develop water leaders and researchers for a sustainable African future.
