All fees are reviewed annually.
Full-fee local or international students can calculate their unit fee by multiplying the annual course fee by the load of the unit.
The equivalent full-time student load (EFTSL) of the unit is calculated by dividing the number of credit points of the unit (six credit points) by 48 credit points which is the standard undergraduate equivalent full-time load per year.
For example, a six point unit (semester unit) is 0.125 EFTSL, and the annual course fee is R37 790 so the individual unit fee would be:
R37 790 x 0.125 = R4 723.75
