Why study Bachelor of Business Science while you work?

Monash South Africa offers the Bachelor of Business Science degree with classes on weekends. This convenient study option gives you the opportunity to balance your studies with your work and personal life.

There are four terms during which you can take two units per term. This means that you can still complete your degree in three years.

The classes are offered every second Saturday, through a blended learning model and are supported by weekly online contact sessions during evenings.

This global, flexible degree, available only on our South African campus, allows you to shape your study to match your career goals and interests. It's a degree that gives you highly-valued, globally-relevant skills, increasing your local and international opportunities.

In your first year you will study subjects like principles of accounting and finance, marketing theory and South African business law - giving you a strong foundation to make an informed choice about where your degree will take you.

Our majors are focused and relevant, but also flexible. You can major in accounting, economics, management, or marketing, or choose a focused major sequence. You have the option to select all of your major/s from the field of business science, or you can combine your business major with a second or double major chosen from our other study areas; social science, health science and information technology.

Note: The Accounting major does not meet the requirements for professional accreditation. If you want to become a professional accountant with accreditation you should apply for the Bachelor of Business Science (specialising in Accounting)

This programme is offered by Monash South Africa in cooperation with Monash University. Successful completion of this programme leads to a Monash South Africa qualification.
